Our Beliefs
-
God
We believe in one God who exists eternally as three persons: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. God the Father is the creator of the universe, sovereign, all-powerful, all knowing, and perfectly good and righteous.

Jesus
Jesus Christ is the Son of God. He is co-equal with the Father and the Holy Spirit. He came to earth fully God and fully man. He lived a sinless life and offered himself as the perfect sacrifice for the penalty of our sins by dying on a cross and raising again 3 days later. He ascended to Heaven and is sitting at the right hand of God and intercedes for us. He will return again for his people and to reign as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

holy spirit
The Holy Spirit is co-equal with the Father and the Son, fully God and actively present in the world to reveal humanity’s need for Jesus Christ. From the moment of salvation, He dwells within every believer, empowering them for godly living, granting insight into spiritual truth, and guiding them in righteousness. The Holy Spirit also imparts spiritual gifts to each believer as they come to faith, equipping them for service and building up the Church. As followers of Christ, we are called to walk daily under the Holy Spirit’s leading.

Human Beings
We believe that human beings are the unique and direct creation of God, made in His image and likeness, designed for relationship with Him and for His glory. God created humans as male and female, equal in value and dignity, and tasked them with stewardship over the earth and moral responsibility before Him.
Although originally created in innocence and perfect fellowship with God, humanity fell into sin through the disobedience of Adam and Eve. As a result, all people inherit a sinful nature and are separated from God, spiritually dead and in need of salvation. This fall affects every aspect of human existence and renders all incapable of restoring themselves to a right relationship with God by their own efforts.
Despite this, every human being retains inherent dignity and worth, bearing the image of God, and is the object of His redemptive love. Through faith in Jesus Christ and the regenerating work of the Holy Spirit, individuals are made new, forgiven, justified, and adopted into God’s family. As believers, we are called to reflect God’s image through holy living, love, and service, and to pursue continual spiritual growth in Christ.
Human life is sacred from conception to natural death, and all people are accountable to God for how they live, act, and respond to His grace.

Salvation
We believe that salvation is a free gift from God, offered through His grace and received by faith. Jesus died on the cross for our sins, was buried, and rose again on the third day. Jesus paid the penalty for our sins. When we repent of our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us. When a person confesses with their mouth and believes in their heart that Jesus is Lord and that God raised him from the dead, they are saved. This allows them to have a relationship with God, live free from the power of sin, bear the fruit of righteousness, and receive the promise of spending eternity in heaven with God.

New Life In Christ
We believe that through faith in Jesus Christ, every believer is made a new creation. This new life is the result of spiritual regeneration by the Holy Spirit, who indwells the believer from the moment of salvation. In Christ, we are forgiven, declared righteous before God, and adopted into His family. We are called to live in holiness, growing daily in Christlikeness through the transforming power of the Holy Spirit.
This new life enables us to walk in victory over the power of sin, to bear the fruit of the Spirit, and to live with purpose and hope. As we abide in Christ and surrender to His will, the Holy Spirit empowers us to live godly lives, to love others as Christ has loved us, and to serve faithfully in the work of His Kingdom.
This new life in Christ also includes a lifelong process of sanctification, as we grow in spiritual maturity and are conformed to the image of Jesus. This life is marked by ongoing repentance, faith, obedience, and dependence on God’s grace. We look forward with hope to the day when Christ returns and we are fully glorified in His presence.

Water Baptism
We believe water baptism by immersion is an outward sign of an inward commitment that a person has believed on Jesus Christ for salvation. It is an act of obedience and is symbolic of a believer's faith in a crucified, buried, and risen Savior, the believer's death to sin, the burial of the old life, and the resurrection to new life in Jesus Christ!

The church and our mission
We believe the church is the body of Christ, called to make disciples, equip the believers for the work of ministry, fellowship with one another, love one another, encourage one another, and proclaim the Gospel to the world.
