Our Beliefs

For we are God’s fellow workers; you are God’s field, you are God’s building. According to the grace of God which was given to me, as a wise master builder I have laid the foundation, and another builds on it.   • The holy trinity (the father, the son, & the holy spirit)

    The Holy Trinity- We believe that God is triune .

  • salvation & repentance

    Salvation- We believe that salvation comes through Jesus Christ alone.  It is by grace through faith in Jesus that we are saved.  Jesus died on the cross for our sins, and on the third day He was raised to life again.  Now He is seated at the right hand of the Father.  When you confess with your mouth and believe in your heart that Jesus is Lord, we have access to the presence of God because the blood that was shed when Jesus died.  We are now able to enter into relationship with God, live a life of freedom from the power of sin, and inherit His kingdom.

    Repentance- We believe that God's kindness leads us to repentance.  We turn away from our sins because we became dead to sin when we accepted Christ.

  • the bible & prayer

    The Bible- We believe the Bible is the infallible written word of God and it is one way that God speaks. It is still applicable to this day.

    Prayer-We believe prayer is a means to communicate with God.

  • water baptism and holy spirit baptism

    Water Baptism- We believe water baptism is an outward representation of your old life dying, and coming to new life in Christ.

    Holy Spirit Baptism- We believe that Jesus came to baptize us in the Holy Spirit.  The Holy Spirit leads us to live a life of holiness as He helps us, teaches us, guides us, comforts us, gives us spiritual gifts, and helps us to bear spiritual fruit.

  • spiritual gifts

    Spiritual Gifts- We believe that the Holy Spirit enables us to walk in the fullness of the gifts we have been blessed with.  Everyone has spiritual gifts, and these gifts are to be used in love and for the glory of God.

  • man & the church

    Man- We believe that we were created for relationship with God.  After God created the first people, Adam and Eve, they disobeyed Him, and brought sin into the world.  As humans we have all sinned.  We are now saved from our sinful nature and forgiven for our sins because Jesus took our penalty by dying on the cross in our place.  Now we are able to live a life of freedom because of imputed righteousness when we believe what Jesus has done for us.  Now we live a life of love for God and one another, because God is love.

    The Church- We believe that the church is anyone who has accepted Christ as their savior.  The church is more than a building,  we are the body of Christ.  He is our head.  When we gather together in Jesus name we are able to host His presence corporately and encourage one another.

  • second coming & eternity

    Second Coming- We believe that Jesus will come again for His church.


    1 Thessalonians 4:16-17, Hebrews 9:28, Revelation 1:7


    Eternity- We believe that when you accept Jesus' sacrifice and come into relationship with God that you can dwell with Him forever in heaven.  If you do not accept what Jesus has done and do not come into relationship with Him then you are choosing hell, which is eternal separation from God.
